At the last minute we had a cancellation and actually it was a blessing. It rained and rained and rained.We stood watching our barrels from the obstacles courses go down stream - lucky we could collect them this morning. Guess what we then did? We snuggled under the throws and watched movie after movie, we must have watched eight movies. Everything that we had recorded over the past few months when we were so busy was watched and cleared off.
This morning this made me think. We are always on at the kids because they are glued to the TV, at least I am, but it is very easy to get hooked and become a couch potato.
Let's be very careful with our kids and keep them occupied with other activities. It is in their interest. Lets work on their general knowledge, their fitness, their well being in general.
This morning I felt frumpy and stiff and just plain yucky. Come on guys - lets get our kids out there doing other things.
