We were expecting rain this week but the skies are clear and temperatures have soared. Farmers are waiting in anticipation for the rain to get their seed into the ground. Nobody is sure about weather what this season will bring.

Our schools have kept us busy but we had a really good camp on the weekend and when we have no nonsense camps it makes life easier for us in this busy period.
Our zip line is now just days away from completion. The steel cable is up and it is just the finishing touches that need to be done. The gents that helped put the steel cable in place normally erect our electrical lines. They contract to Eskom (our national power supplier) so they have the equipment and the know how to put everything in place in no time.
There are big discussions among the staff and the gents that helped with the cable on who will be the first to test our zip line. I think this one I will sit out and just watch with a smile. What I will do is have it on camera because even though our temperatures are well above 35 deg the water is icy. This dam that we are now using is fed from an underground spring so the water is always cold.
