As we are nearing the end of the year our school children are very busy with their final exams and matric farewells (Prom Night) and this is no different on the farm schools. It creates great excitement amid all the hard work the kids put in throughout the year. What you must remember is that these kids travel 20 kilometers to school each day. Their day starts at the crack of dawn and sometimes they arrive back at home at five in the afternoon. 
Then chores have to be done and don’t forget the homework and studying for the next day. They take all this in their stride and embrace everything that is good and different in life. Enjoy the photos one young gentleman was kind enough to let me have of their very special day.
