The hunting season has commenced and I thought you would be interested in a bit of Trivia. 

In South Africa the hunting season in during the months that do not contain the letter "R". Hence we hunt during the months of May through to August. 

A Beer After a Good Day Of Hunting

We are not known for hunting but this year we have far too many rams in our Blesbok herd. 

We Look Cool While The Men Hunt

In a situation like this, when there are too many rams, it turns out to be a bad breading season as the rams are too busy fighting each other for territory and don't get down to the business of breading. Silly animals why fight when you could be enjoying yourself.

Today we had hunters in that enjoyed the entire day on the farm. They made a family affair of it and Moms, Dads and the kids joined in for a day of hunting, hiking and just enjoyed the outdoors in a brilliant winter sun.

In South Africa there are certain things we enjoy. The Sun, the veld, family, a good hunt, a celebration beer.

This is what we are all about.
