Busy Times on Rich Ranch

Very Hungry
It's been really busy over the past week.
We have had to wean some of the calves because they keep drinking from the mothers and the mothers are pregnant again. As it is winter we have to keep the mothers in good shape for when they give birth.
Very Thirsty
We split the calves from their mothers and put them in the kraal, the mothers we moved to a secluded part of the farm. The first night is was lowing and mooing that could be heard for miles and miles. The mothers broke a fence and found their little ones but could not get into the kraal. So we just moved the mothers again. Now after six days their need for their mothers has decreased but boy do they eat and drink. We can't keep up feeding and watering them.
It is still cold but no so that we cannot enjoy the hikes and outdoors. Spring will be here soon.
