Even though it is the weekend, the work on the farm never stops. Don't forget we are self taught farmers so we have learnt the hard way. Richard is very busy ploughing so that we will be ready for planting when the rains arrive. It is actually a very exciting time on the farm. It is the time when the cows start dropping (a farm term I learnt) their babies and the green grass is trying to push through. There is an expectancy in the air as we ait for the rain. So until then we travel 20KM of very dusty road into town when we do our shopping. When it rains I will have another story to tewll about this road, so stay tuned. If you would like to know what else we do on the farm click here http://www.richranch.blogspot.com/ We really keep ourselves busy.
