Happy Birthday Ryan. We wish you many more happy and prosperous years. You're getting on in years Boet (you can only say that in South Africa) and I don't know if I must post your age here. May you be even more blessed than what you are now and we hope to see you soon.
I think there are many families that are in the same position as us.
Today we celebrated a birthday with one our kids that we have not seen for three years. There is even a grandchild that we have not seen.
For many families the children have gone off to other countries to make better lives for themselves. For some it could be that they are tired of the crime and for others it is the education of their children. And to still others it is the adventure travel.
Whatever the reason, we miss our families. We miss having them all together on special occasion like Christmas and New Year and even this Easter they are scattered all over the globe.
To all those families I just want to say hang in there. Bless them and pray to keep them safe and who knows, they might be back one day.
We did not forget your birthday we just can't get connected at the moment so I'm doing this by email
