Why I Love Rich Ranch

We Love You and Will Miss You Capone

The past few weeks have been really hectic with all our school and church camps but we have had good times with them all.
People often ask me if I don’t get tired of doing the same thing over and over, but if you are from South Africa you must know how diverse we are as a nation. With all the different cultures and ethnic groups not one camp will be the same as another. We also have loads of fun and laughter with these kids. If you are stuck in the concrete jungle day after day it must be heaven to get out into the bush and forget about all your woes and just get plain dirty and work those muscles that don’t normally get used. I do sincerely hope that we bring some joy into the lives of the kids that visit us.
We are a bit sad because we lost Capone. The cancer eventually took over and now he is gone. 14 years of being faithful to us – we miss his mascara eyes and will always remember the tiny bundle we brought home.
Still no owls in our owl box but we do see the Koi every time we ride the Zip Line.
And why the heading of “Why I love Rich Ranch”. A picture is worth a thousand words. Every evening this week the sunsets have been awesome. Enjoy it with us.
