Today on the Farm

This morning walking up to the main building I realize once again how very fortunate and privileged I am to be living in an environment like this. I do bitch and moan about the cattle that walk through my garden and destroy it beyond repair and at night the duiker and impala graze on my roses so we only have the stalks and no greenery or blooms. We have the baboons and monkeys that steal our fruit, but I would not change this for anything else in the world.

We are still ploughing the lands and getting them ready for planting

We are hoping that the gent that is fixing the TLB will be coming through today. Being so far out and not being able to fix some of the things ourselves, we must rely on others to do this for us. And you guys know how that sometimes is, so in the mean time we have to manually load the sugar graze that we feed the cows on the bakkie (good South African word). This means that Richard has to be up and working by 6am otherwise we will not get everything done during the day.

Hope you guys checked out the other side of our business http://www.richranch.blogspt.com/

Speak to you tomorrow
