Richard was off the assist at a corporate shoot at Wattlespring Gun Club (read about it tomorrow at Clay Target Shooting) so it was another 6am morning for us. I settled down to a “myself” day of just reading and relaxing, but you never know what to expect on the farm.
A commotion of hooves and dogs barking just after 7am got me up and running. I peeked out of the window and there was a young kudu being cornered in our garden by some stray dogs. The must have been chasing it for quite some time ‘cause it was absolutely exhausted. It was petrified and here was me looking for batteries for the camera just to get a shot in.
Now you wonder why I love this place like I do – here it is – enjoy
