Getting Green on Rich Ranch

Our school camp was a huge success and often I think I would like to go off and do something else with my life but then I experience this fuzzy feeling when I work with the kids and I know that what we do is all worth it. When your body aches and you have not had enough sleep you sometimes want to hang these little monsters and then you hear them chat about what they take away with them, you know it is good. Thanks kids you rejuvenate us and keep us young.
Exploring in the Valley
We spent some time up in Johannesburg again. We are making the most of every day off because in a few days time it will be back to back camps right through to December. I am sometimes not sure it is taking time off because this time we did not really have the time to just relax. We were so busy with stocking up for supplies for the school and the paint work that is being done that side that it was really hectic. Anyway it is still a break.
Back here on the farm the pool is now only a day or two to complete repair and our new Zip Line is really taking shape. Our weather is now well on its way to what we know and that is hot, sunny and clear. There is an expectancy in the air and I think jerseys during the day are a thing of the past. Yippee just imagine the decrease in the washing load. More time to spend outside and soak up the sun. Yesterday we did just that and went exploring down in the valley and everywhere you can see the green shoots and grasses popping up everywhere.
This coming weekend there will a revival on the farm organized by a school that does magnificent work for their scholars. I am really looking forward to that. You can see that we are never board here as we experience the diversity of our country and all its people.
