| First Stage of New Zip Line Complete |
What a busy time of the year.
Last weekend we had the pleasure of having 55 girls here on the farm. I always enjoy our camps when it is an All Girl School. The ladies are just way different when there are no boys around and then you really realize how strong the women are. Our weather was absolutely beautiful on Friday and even warmer on Saturday as we went about our business of doing all the obstacles and riding the zip line and then Sunday morning brought black clouds rolling in from the East. We were really afraid of a heavy downpour as we are still busy with the reconstruction of the pool. We are nearly there and don’t need a setback now.
We pulled our staff off the repair of the pool for a few days as we will have a new activity for the summer and need to get a structure up that needs the muscle of all our staff. This evening our four main posts are in and we will leave all the concrete to dry and get back to the pool. This activity will be great as we will then have two zip lines to ride. I think the schools are going to enjoy it immensely.
We are all geared for the next school on the weekend. All the stocks are in the pantry and we are set to go. I think we are a pretty well organized group. That’s why we enjoy what we do so much.
