This was an excellent weekend on Rich Ranch. The kids visiting has an excellent time and the neighbour’s kids decided to come and visit as well while we were riding the Zip Line.
Working on the Zip Line on a regular basis I think we forget how awesome a ride it is and the thrills that the kids get is worth all the hard work and late nights we work.
The kids in Gauteng are still on holiday this weekend so the kids that live on the farms always have their city friends visiting in the holidays. They enjoy a freedom that they don’t have in the city and they get to explore the bush and fish and go on night hikes. Just good fun away from the computers, malls and Television.
Ok so all the guests have left this morning. South Africa lost the quarterfinal in the Rugby World Cup to Australia. So its mixed emotion – glad and sad, but we will survive. I still wouldn’t want to be anywhere else on earth or be doing anything else.
